Active Plus is a modern dynamic standing frame designed for active rehabilitation of individuals with lower-limb paralysis. The device is equipped with a unique wheelchair lifting system, advanced gait kinematics, and the RehaGym system, which expands the range of available exercises.
This model is intended for active users with an injury level up to Th5, who have full upper-limb function and no deformities of the knees or feet.

How does the Active Plus dynamic stander work?
Active Plus enables individuals with lower-limb paralysis or paresis (paraplegia), and to a limited extent those with quadriplegia (tetraplegia), to perform active rehabilitation in a standing position. Users with functional upper limbs can independently — or with minimal assistance from a caregiver — stand up from a wheelchair, move forward and backward, perform turns, squats and half-squats, and engage a wide range of muscle groups.
This form of physical activity positively affects the function of the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, and digestive systems, while also improving overall comfort and quality of life.
For individuals with quadriplegia, assistance from a caregiver is necessary, and in most cases only passive stepping is possible.

The basic exercises that you can perform
|
Independent, safe and comfortable standing in an upright position. |
|
|
Movement in any direction. While using the Active Plus dynamic standing frame, movement takes the form of stepping without knee flexion, with slight motion in the ankle and hip joints. This allows the user to move freely in various directions. During this activity, the musculoskeletal system is naturally loaded, and the muscles of the legs, arms, and torso work intensively, supporting effective rehabilitation outcomes. |
|
|
Improving joint mobility. During squats and half-squats performed with the RehaGym system, the knee and hip joints move in natural, anatomical planes. For users with limited hand grip, special training gloves are available to facilitate exercise. |

Technical data
Standers are custom-made based on the user’s body measurements and the specific type of dysfunction. This means that before work on an individual model begins, a consultation and complete medical documentation are required. Performing accurate measurements is essential to create a comfortable device that genuinely improves quality of life.
Alreh Medical, the manufacturer of standing frames, offers a wide range of medical equipment, including pediatric standing frames and static standing frames. We encourage you to contact us to discuss all the details.
