HUG - Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (CH)

The aim of the study with our Swiss partner HUG was to use the activLife device in hospital rehabilitation in elderly patients and the impact of this therapeutic method on the activity of patients after discharge from hospital. These studies have shown that geriatric rehabilitation with activLife is as effective as standard rehabilitation procedures in the hospital, and patients accept this form of rehabilitation very well, however, to draw statistically justified conclusions about their activity after discharge from the hospital, the sample turned out to be too small (which is a common problem in studies with the elderly in the medium and long term).
Study conducted on patients aged 65+ with musculoskeletal problems such as fractures, endoprosthesis, falls or the risk of falls and lower back pain.

Uniwersytet Medyczny Poznań wraz z DPS Pleszew (PL)

The research of the Medical University of Poznań in DPS Pleszew suggests (not yet completed) that seniors with mild cognitive disorders are effectively involved in cognitive and motor activation with the use of activLife by the facility staff. This shows that in modern retirement homes that activate and rehabilitate residents, the device can be widely used, especially in times of social isolation caused by the Korona virus.

There is also an improvement in balance testing.
